I can end it here,
All of it, now and forever.

Just turn the wheel and let go,
It's only for a few seconds.

When the world goes blind,
That's how we'll know it's over.

But you locked my heart in too deep,
For me to throw away the key.

So I just stand by,
And watch every chance slip from fingers.

If only you didn't need me,
If only I was worth nothing to you.

(Even though I feel like I do.)

I'll stand back,
And hide behind the curtain.

Screaming violent colors against the velvet,
This fabric wall of silence, I succumb to.
